Specialists in breast and body surgery
Your care is led by board-certified surgeons with focused experience in advanced breast and body procedures. Recommendations are based on your anatomy and goals, not a standard treatment package.
Breast, tummy tuck, and liposuction planned as one surgery.
A Mommy Makeover addresses what pregnancy and nursing change: stretched abdominal muscles, loose skin that will not tighten on its own, and breast volume or position that shifted. Dr. Anh-Tuan Truong, triple board-certified cosmetic surgeon, and Dr. Kevin Lin, board-certified plastic surgeon (ABPS), build each plan around the patient's own anatomy at our AAAHC-accredited facility in Chicago.
Fall offer: up to $2,000 off surgical fees when you book by October 31. Complimentary virtual consultation, regularly $250. Confidential and pressure-free.
The real problem
Pregnancy separates the abdominal muscles down the midline. That separation, called diastasis recti, does not close with core work, and no amount of training pulls it back together. The skin stretched over it has lost elasticity it will not recover. Breast tissue that changed through pregnancy and nursing has already settled where it is going to settle.
This is the part that makes it frustrating. The weight can come off. The workouts can be consistent. And the midsection still rounds forward, the waistband still folds, and clothes that fit before still do not fit the same way. It is not a discipline problem. It is a structural one, and structure does not respond to effort the way fat does.
Most patients describe wanting to look like themselves again. A flatter midsection that holds. Breasts that sit where they used to. Being able to get dressed without planning around what needs covering. Not a different body, the one that was there before.
Individual results may vary.
Abdominal and breast procedures done together share a single anesthesia, a single facility fee, and a single recovery period. For patients coordinating childcare and time away from work, that consolidation is often the deciding factor over staging the procedures separately.
Individual results may vary. Whether procedures can safely be combined is determined at the consultation.
What set him apart was his commitment to proportion and balance. His results speak for themselves: refined, natural, and beautifully sculpted with precision.

The procedure
A Mommy Makeover is not one operation. It is a combination chosen at the consultation, based on what pregnancy actually changed for that patient and what can safely be done in a single session.
Complimentary virtual consultation, regularly $250. Confidential. No obligation.
Individual results may vary. All surgical procedures carry risks.
A Mommy Makeover is two or more procedures planned as one surgery. These are the pairings Dr. Truong and Dr. Lin plan most often. Which one fits is decided at the consultation, after an examination.
For loose lower abdominal skin and separated muscles, with breasts that have dropped in position but kept their volume.
For the same abdominal changes, with breasts that lost volume after nursing and need it restored.
For breasts that changed in both position and volume. The lift and the implant are planned together in one session.
For patients whose skin still has good tone. Flanks, back, and abdomen are contoured as one structure; no skin removal.
For loose skin in front and fullness at the flanks and back. Liposuction brings the whole midsection into proportion rather than flattening the front alone.
When liposuction is already part of the plan, fat transfer to the buttocks or hips can be added if it fits the plan and the patient's anatomy.
Not sure which combination you need? Bring the concern, not the procedure name. Book a complimentary virtual consultation and leave with a written plan. Individual results may vary.
Why choose Chicago Breast and Body
From your surgical plan through recovery, every decision is shaped around your anatomy, safety, goals, and long-term result.
Your care is led by board-certified surgeons with focused experience in advanced breast and body procedures. Recommendations are based on your anatomy and goals, not a standard treatment package.
Combined breast and abdominal surgery takes place in an on-site facility accredited by AAAHC, the national accrediting body for ambulatory surgical facilities. Patients are not sent to an outside operating room.
Each patient is assigned a named coordinator who answers by call or text through the entire recovery, not a call center queue. Recovering at home with children in the house is when that access matters most.
Complimentary virtual consultations and virtual follow-ups mean the process can begin without arranging childcare for a first appointment. Patients travel to us from across the country for body contouring.
Actual patients
The process is designed to be straightforward and pressure-free.
Schedule a complimentary virtual consultation, regularly a $250 value. No childcare to arrange and no travel to start. Call, text, or fill out the form.
The surgeon examines what pregnancy actually changed, discusses which procedures can be safely combined in one session, and confirms whether a mommy makeover is the right approach. Patients leave with a written plan and a written quote.
Recovery from combined procedures is longer than from a single one. Most patients plan meaningful help at home for the first week and time away from lifting for several weeks. Your coordinator and surgeon set the specific timeline for your plan.

There is no single Mommy Makeover price, and any practice quoting one over the phone is quoting a package rather than your procedure. What you pay depends on which operations are in your plan. Here is what determines it, what the quote covers, and how patients pay for it.
A tummy tuck with muscle repair plus a breast lift is a different operation, and a different cost, than a tummy tuck alone.
Determined byThe number given at the consultation is the number, with no surprise bills. Patients are not quoted a surgeon's fee and then billed separately for the room.
IncludesMost patients finance some portion with monthly payment options. Applications are handled through third-party lenders, and approval and terms are set by the lender.
PartnersFinancing is subject to credit approval. Rates, terms, and eligibility are set by the lender, not by Chicago Breast & Body Aesthetics. A written, all-inclusive quote is provided at the complimentary virtual consultation.
Everything at Chicago Breast & Body Aesthetics is built around one thing: making a combined procedure clearer, safer, and easier to plan from consultation through recovery.
Dr. Truong is triple board-certified. Dr. Lin is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Both dedicate their practice to breast and body procedures rather than a rotating menu, and both are named before the patient books.
Which breast procedure, whether muscle repair is needed, and how many areas of liposuction are decided at the consultation after an examination. Not selected from a package before the surgeon has seen you.
Combined procedures run longer than single ones, which makes where they are performed matter more. Surgery takes place on site in a facility accredited by AAAHC, the national accrediting body for ambulatory surgical facilities.
If combining the procedures is not safe for a patient, or if waiting would produce a better result, the surgeon says so at the consultation. Patients are told when a plan will not serve them.
Surgeon's fee, facility and operating room, anesthesia, garments, and post-op visits for up to one year, quoted as one number in writing. CareCredit, Cherry, and Alphaeon are available for qualified applicants.
A named patient coordinator manages scheduling through recovery and answers by call or text, including evenings and weekends. Recovering at home with children is when questions actually come up.

Triple board-certified cosmetic surgeon
Dr. Truong is a triple board-certified cosmetic surgeon with more than twenty years in the field and thousands of procedures behind him. He built Chicago Breast & Body around breast and body contouring, and plans every case on proportion first: implant profile, tissue quality, and how the result reads in clothing. His approach is to minimize scars, preserve anatomy, and work in harmony with the body.

Board-certified plastic surgeon
Dr. Lin trained in reconstructive microsurgery before moving into aesthetics, and brings that structural thinking to abdominoplasty and post-pregnancy revision: tissue behavior, tension, and the long view on healing. He is known for long consultations, and patients tend to remember the planning as much as the result.

A Mommy Makeover is a combination of procedures chosen for the individual patient, not a fixed package. Most plans pair an abdominal procedure with a breast procedure. The abdominal side is usually a tummy tuck, which removes loose lower abdominal skin and repairs separated abdominal muscles, often with liposuction of the flanks and back. The breast side may be a lift, an augmentation, a reduction, or a lift combined with an implant. Which components are included is decided at the consultation after an examination.
Surgeons generally recommend waiting until you are finished having children, since a later pregnancy can change abdominal repair and breast results. Most also ask that patients be several months past delivery and past nursing, and at a weight they can maintain. The specific timing for your situation is confirmed at the consultation, and Dr. Truong or Dr. Lin will tell you if waiting would produce a better result.
Mommy Makeovers are performed by Dr. Anh-Tuan Truong, a triple board-certified cosmetic surgeon, and Dr. Kevin Lin, a board-certified plastic surgeon (ABPS). Both focus their practice on breast and body procedures and operate out of the practice's AAAHC-accredited facility at 467 W Erie St in Chicago. Patients know which surgeon is performing their procedure before they book.
There is no single price, because a Mommy Makeover is built from different procedures for different patients. Cost depends on which breast procedure is included, whether abdominal muscle repair is needed, how many areas of liposuction are treated, and total time under anesthesia. A written, all-inclusive quote is provided at the complimentary virtual consultation, covering the surgeon's fee, operating room and facility fee, anesthesia, garments, and post-op visits for up to one year. Financing is available through CareCredit, Cherry, and Alphaeon for qualified applicants.
For many patients it is, and combining avoids a second anesthesia and a second recovery. Whether it is appropriate for a given patient depends on health history, the length of the combined procedure, and what is being done. That assessment is made by the surgeon at the consultation. If combining is not the right call, the recommendation will be to stage the procedures instead. All surgery carries risk, and those risks are reviewed in full before anything is scheduled.
Recovery from a combined procedure is longer than from a single one, and abdominal muscle repair is the part that extends it most. Most patients arrange substantial help at home for the first week and are restricted from lifting for several weeks after that, which is worth planning around if there are small children in the house. Swelling resolves gradually and the final contour continues to settle for months. Your surgeon sets the specific timeline for your plan at the consultation.
Yes. A tummy tuck leaves a horizontal scar low on the abdomen, positioned to sit below where most underwear and swimwear fall, and breast lifts and reductions leave scars on the breast. Scars mature and fade over time but do not disappear. Where each incision will fall is shown and discussed at the consultation before anything is scheduled, so there are no surprises afterward.
A Mommy Makeover is not a weight-loss procedure. It addresses loose skin, separated abdominal muscles, and breast changes, none of which respond to weight loss. Surgeons generally ask that patients be at a weight they can maintain, because significant loss or gain afterward changes the result. If you are still actively losing, the honest recommendation is often to wait, and you will be told that at the consultation rather than after booking.
